Day 8 - SuG

This time, I bring you SuG, a Japanese band formed in 2006. They self call their music "Happy positive rock" xD

They're something of a mix between Visual and Oshare-kei.. Here they just look Visual-Kei-ish but some of their other videos are all pink and fluffy wich I personally dislike...
 
But this one is pretty good, I love the song ^^

Actual members are Takeru (Vocals), Masato (Guitar), Yuji (Guitar), Chiyu (Bass), Shinpei (Drums)
(Though that's not Shinpei in that video)

    I like the song, although I am always confused by the ambiguous sexuality thing. Is this still pretty big in Japan?

    Well, yeah, visual bands just keep getting bigger and bigger in Japan, but most of them start the career with an exagerated look like this one and then they "neutralize" along the years

    I always love hearing new and interesting music, they sound a little bit too much in the pop genre for me, but I definitely understand where the "happy" rock feeling comes from, it is very upbeat...not that I could understand what they were saying :P

    Not bad. I wouldn't say it's something I'd listen to, but my tastes are weird anyway.

    I like a few songs from SuG...
    and I find it funny how most bands kind of tone down the image thing after a few years, yeah. It's like they're kind of getting tired of it, or they're changing it...
